ENCORP MILLENNIUM ANNOUNCES GROUNDBREAKING AND UNVEILS OFFICIAL NAME OF PROPERTY PROJECT AT TELUK CEMPEDAK

TELUK CEMPEDAK, KUANTAN, PAHANG, 27 May 2024 – Encorp Construction & Infrastructure Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Encorp Berhad (ENCORP), and Touch Millennium Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Touch Group Holdings Sdn Bhd (TOUCH), have established a strategic partnership by forming a Joint Venture known as Encorp Millennium Sdn Bhd (ENCORP MILLENNIUM). This collaboration aims to lead the development of an iconic commercial mixed-use project spanning 4.97 acres of prime land in Teluk Cempedak, Kuantan, Pahang. Today marks a significant milestone as ENCORP MILLENNIUM proudly unveils the official name of this visionary project “Balau Residences” during its groundbreaking event.

The ceremony, graced by Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Sultan Pahang, saw esteemed guests including the State Executive Councillors of Pahang, Chairman of FELDA, YBhg. Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, Director General of FELDA, YBhg. Datuk Amiruddin Abdul Satar, Chairman of ENCORP, Yusmadi Yusoff, Group Chief Executive Officer of ENCORP, Hazurin Harun, Chairman of TOUCH, YM Raja Dato’ Sri Mufik Affandi Raja Khalid, Group Managing Director of TOUCH, YM Raja Dato’ Idris Raja Halid, and other dignitaries from the state and industry.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, ENCORP’s Group CEO, Hazurin Harun shared insights into the project’s development, slated for launch in the fourth quarter of 2024. Balau Residences, a commercial mixed-use development with a freehold tenure, boasts a Gross Development Value (GDV) over RM545 million. Construction is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2025, with completion expected by the fourth quarter of 2028. Developed over a period of 6 years, the project spans 4.97 acres and comprises 945 units of residential and service apartments, along with 21 commercial units, offering approximately 2,179 car park bays and 20 OKU bays across its premises.
