CONSTRUCTION

Overview

ENCORP offers construction and construction management expertise to both internal and external clients by utilising specialised project management techniques to oversee the planning, design and construction of a project to control a project’s time, cost and quality.

Main achievements :

Development of 10,000 units of teachers’ housing for the Government of Malaysia. The project was a privatisation project by the Government in which ENCORP would receive a monthly concession payment of RM11.3 mil until 2028.

Completed the teachers’ housing project – 10,000 units in 109 sites across 9 states including Sarawak and Sabah.

Built reputation for project delivery and for quality construction. Became expert in using Industrialised Building Systems (IBS) technology – used in the teachers’ housing project.

Government landed ENCORP’s lead in using this technology which proved to be time-saving, delivering consistent quality, fewer manpower (including less reliance on foregin labour), a safer & clean construction method (eg. Clean construction site – most components were manufacturer offsite).
